ARRIVING IN CROATIA

 

Once you decide to arrive by car, first of all, check your documents, a valid driver's license, car registration and the Green Card which is the proof of your car insurance, for these documents are required.
Pay attention to speed limit; 50 km/h in settlements, 80 km/h outside of settlements(unless stated differently) and 130 km/h on highway.

Alcohol is not permitted, so the alcohol blood level is 0,0%.
Taxi service and rent-a-car service are available in all the cities and airports in Croatia.

Bus lines and Railways connect all parts of the country. The only exception is Dubrovnik which is connected only by bus lines. Besides the local lines, Croatia is well connected to its neighboring and other European countries, Slovenia, Hungary, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Slovakia, France, Germany and others.

Arriving by plane would be the simplest way, especially during the summer season for the flights are more frequent. Croatia Airlines is the national airline company well connected to the major European cities.; Munich, Frankfurt, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Rome...You can arrange your flight to Zagreb, Split, Dubrovnik or Pula, our major international airports.
